Common questions

Where does the recording get uploaded?

Nowhere. Recording happens inside the browser, and the file goes nowhere until you download it yourself. That matters especially here, since the file contains your own screen.

The sound is not being captured.

System sound can only be captured when the browser is sharing a “tab” or the “entire screen”, and you have to enable audio sharing in the share dialog. Choosing a single window often captures no sound. The microphone is a separate switch.

I hit the browser’s stop-sharing instead of the stop button.
