Common questions

How is this different from a screenshot?
A screenshot is tied to your screen resolution and catches the player’s UI as well. This pulls the original frame out of the video itself, so it comes at the source resolution with nothing extra.
Which format should I choose?
PNG is sharper for frames full of text or shapes. For live-action footage JPG is far smaller, and WebP smaller still.
Where does the video get uploaded?
Nowhere. Opening it and pulling frames out both finish inside your browser.
It says there are too many frames.
Widen the interval. It grabs at most 200 frames in one go — beyond that the browser struggles.
