Turns a meeting or an announcement into an .ics file you can drop straight into a calendar. Times are written in UTC so they land at the same moment in any country, and characters that calendar apps reject are handled for you.

How to use it

  1. Enter the event name and times
  2. Set the place, repeat and notes
  3. Check the times it wrote
  4. Hit "Download .ics"

Common questions

Will the time be wrong for someone in another country?
It will not. You enter the time in Korea time and the file records it in UTC. It shows you “Korea time ○○ = ○○ in the file”, so you can check before using it.
My calendar app will not take the file.
A comma or semicolon in the title breaks the format, and this tool handles that automatically. The line endings are written to spec as well.
The last day of an all-day event is missing.
This tool writes the end date one day later so that the final day is included. The .ics rules work that way, and it is the part people most often get wrong by hand.
How do I use it in an announcement?
Attach the downloaded file to your post. Anyone who opens it gets the event straight into their own calendar.
Where does the event get uploaded?
Nowhere. It is created inside your browser only.
