Common questions

Why not just skip weekends?

That does not match reality. A deadline like “within 7 business days” only lands on the right date once public holidays and substitute holidays are taken out too. Korean Lunar New Year or Chuseok pushes it back by days.

Why does it list the days it removed?

Handing back a date alone leaves you no way to check it. Every removed day is listed with its reason, so if your company’s rules differ you see it at once.

Does it cover every year?

Korean Lunar New Year, Chuseok and Buddha’s Birthday follow the lunar calendar, so their solar dates change every year and cannot be derived by calculation. For a year that is not in the table it says so — it never quietly hands back a wrong date.

Turn on “Saturdays count as business days” and they are included.

Does the start day count as one?

By default counting begins the next day. Some rules include the start day, so it is offered as an option.
