Common questions
- How is the age calculated?
- If the birthday has passed it is (this year − birth year); if not, one less. Since June 2023 this so-called “full age” is the single legal age in Korea.
- Is the target day D-0 or D-1?
- Here the target day itself is D-DAY and the day before is D-1. Places that follow a different convention can be one day off.
- Are public holidays taken out of the business-day count?
- Only Saturdays and Sundays are removed. Public holidays move from year to year and are not included, so subtract them yourself if you need to.
