Common questions
- Why show the list before extracting?
- With an archive someone sent you, often all you needed was to see what is inside. You can take just the file you want instead of unpacking everything.
- Do password-protected ZIPs work?
- They cannot be opened. Only ordinary ZIPs without a password are handled.
- What does the compression level change?
- Higher means smaller but slower. Photos and video are already compressed, so raising it barely shrinks them.
