모서리는 일부러 손으로 잡습니다 — 자동으로 찾으면 무늬 있는 책상·그림자에서 잘 틀리고, 틀렸을 때 이유가 안 보입니다. 스캔처럼 보기는 자리마다 밝기 기준을 따로 잡아, 그림자가 걸쳐도 반쪽이 통째로 까매지지 않습니다.

Common questions
- Why not detect the corners automatically?
- On purpose. Automatic detection is easily fooled by lighting and patterns, and when it is wrong you cannot tell why. Dragging four points takes three seconds and is always right.
- How does the scan look work?
- It converts to grey and picks a brightness threshold per region. One threshold for the whole page crushes the shaded side into black.
- Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
- No. Flattening and cleanup both finish inside your browser.
