Three things in one place: convert color codes, pull the representative colors out of an image, and look up the standard CSS color names.

How to use it

  2. For converting type a colour code; for extracting add an image
  3. Click a result to copy it

Common questions

Why are the three tools in one place?
All three exist to settle on one colour. Kept apart, you first have to decide which one to open. Each tool keeps its own address.
Does the image get uploaded to a server?
No. Colour extraction happens inside your browser and the image is never sent anywhere.
Why show the contrast ratio?
Text is hard to read when it is too close in brightness to its background. The convert tab shows that number alongside, so you can judge readability while choosing the colour.
