Compares two revisions of a PDF at once and marks what changed. It catches shifts that text alone would miss — a moved table, a stamp — and the files never leave your browser.
How to use it
- Add the original (A) and the revised (B) PDF
- Choose what to compare — text+image / text only / image only
- Hit Compare
- Check the boxed spots on each page, and the added and removed lines
Common questions
- How is this different from comparing the text?
- A text comparison only catches changed sentences. A shifted table cell, or a missing seal or signature image, leaves the text identical and stays invisible. This tool also overlays the pages as images, so those changes get boxed as well.
- Do scanned documents work?
- Yes. A scan has no text layer so the sentence list stays empty, but the image comparison works as usual. Choosing “images only” is faster.
- Do the files get uploaded to a server?
- No. Reading and rendering the PDFs both happen inside your browser.
- What if the page counts differ?
- Pages present on only one side are marked “only in A” and “only in B”. If the paper sizes differ, they are overlaid against the larger one.
