Common questions

Why are the answers tool names?

Bundling a dictionary makes it heavy, and hand-written word lists go stale. These come from the tool aliases this site already has, so the puzzles grow as the tools do — and while guessing you learn what is here.

What if only one letter is wrong?

It shows as a yellow box. In a consonant quiz you often land on a different word with the same consonants, and painting all of those the same colour as a plain miss hides the fact that you are getting better.

When does the day change?

Midnight in Korean time. It is fixed regardless of your device’s time zone, so wherever you open it the same day gives the same puzzle.

Does sharing the result leak the answers?

No. Only the coloured grid and how many you got. None of the answer letters go in.
